The war in Afghanistan, Canadians set date to leave!
Seems the Canadians think they can sneak out of the war that’s happening in Afghanistan buy 2011! At least that’s what the rumor seems to be anyways… See I didn’t know you could forecast peace in the Middle East like this. So what’s going to happen with this situation? 2011 will come soon and you will still see poverty on the streets, hunger within families and road side bombs continuing daily. What the government doesn’t understand is when we leave the situation will only going to get worse! I personally think setting a time line to leave Afghanistan only allows who we’re fighting the time to prepare for whatever they plan on doing when the Canadian’s do in fact leave.
We started a movement in Afghanistan; we started the revolution that will bring peace and freedom to those who need it most! Now we’re going to take it all back and say. “Hey sorry, but if Afghanistan isn’t fixed by 2011 we’re leaving anyway”?
What is this bullshit?
I’m a Canadian and I don’t think this is right! We have to help re build their community; we have to liberate the people from the terror they live in!
80++ Canadian solders have died since the war in Afghanistan and maybe more. Do you think the 4000 dead solders would want us to leave? How happy do you think they would be if we stopped the war they died for before the goal was reached? Could you go as far to say they died for nothing if we pull out too early?
I live my day with so much freedom and I take for granted what I have in my life. It’s the smallest things that are most important in which I take for granted. These items consist of clean drinking water from a tap, food delivered to my local grocery store, police to protect me from criminals and much more. We not only started a war in Afghanistan but a new way of living. We must help them take for granted what we do in our daily lives. We must build their law enforcement and military so they can defend themselves.
Please don’t leave Afghanistan in 2011, we all know the country isn’t stable enough; we all know they will fail due to inadequate resources and or training. Help them rebuild the country they once dreamed. Help free the people of suppression and the world will be that much more of a better place!
If the Canadians leave Afghanistan the Canadian Government can officially say iknowniil!
4000 canadian soldiers killed? man we havn’t even hit a hundred yet, what is this ignorant shit your talking about, make sure you know what the hell your talking about before you comment. “help them rebuild the country they once dreamed of” how do you know know what they dream of. You ever even talked to an afgani? If your so keen on helpin the war effort, why don’t you donate some money? Or join the friggen army instead of just asking the soldiers to sacrifice more! And once your over there, and have seen new friends blown up by IEDs and been entangled in an endlessly complex political situation, you tell me what it’s all for. We can’t give anyone freedom, whoever wants freedom the most will have it. They are the ones who have to sacrifice for their freedom. And it’s not like their is a set quota of sacrifice for freedom, it’s not like you get freedom forever in exchange for 10 000 lives. You have to keep sacrificing for freedom, and frankly i’d rather sacrifice for my own and my country mens freedom.

I’m also not saying to rebuild the country as we want it but back to it’s original state! before we messed things up with bombs etc…
I don’t ask the solders to go to war they volunteer. Again this isn’t the point, the point is to finish something we already started! We went into their country and we’re already talking about escape dates! whatever we’re stuck there until they are free and this is finished properly! We might be there as long as the untied states are in Iraq!
