The harsh reality of a college graduate!

Posted by admin under Uncategorized

Yes! This blog is special and it’s due to many reasons! I live in a country that’s meant to be free. Free speech and liberty for all, justice for the innocence and punishment for the guilty! A country many are proud to call their own and live free. Today I am irate and pissed off for all the right reasons. I work hard to better my country via education and full time employment. I pay taxes to help our country become better then it was yesterday and to help build a bright and safe future for our young.

I now understand it was never for the people! It was never for the name of the country as all our government cares about is generating profits from the poor and feeding the rich!. I just graduated from college and now I am consumed with debt. Debt the government has burdened me with and has no remorse for the insane interest rate they are charging me. I have to pay $409.00 over the next 114 months. The total amount I borrowed was $31,591.00 for three years of education. Now I must repay a total of $46,626.00

Where is the Free in this number, where is the relief for those that only wanted to improve their quality of living? I’m sick and tired of this country being filled with money hungry, overpaid employees in parliament hill. 1% GST cut give me a break! Who’s going to explain to me why people working for the government are getting paid 60k a year and driving nicer cars then me. I’m tired of making 40k a year and only brining home 30k. This has to stop and it has to stop now! We have to unite and stand up for ourselves. I’m tired of seeing government employees making more money than me! They have no excuse and in 99% of cases they’re overpaid.

What can we do to make our country a better place to live? What can we do to ensure taxes are lowered? Why should I even pay them a penny of my hard earned money! This year to date I have accumulated 18,900.00 as my income and have already paid 5,000.00 in Canadian taxes which is extremely unacceptable!

Something has to be done regarding the government. We must stand up as a society and rebel against these high taxing practices! Students it’s up to you and no one else can change this. You must use your social networking abilities and take a stand against high student loans interest rates. You must take a stand and speak to be heard.
